So a funny thing happened the other week… I got to talk all things gifting on a Podcast with !
In amongst it all, Nivek & I deep dove into the place gifting has within the world of online business how you may choose to use gifting to level up your client experience.
So if this is you, these are my tips & tricks for creating epic gift experiences in 2023 🤍🤍
1. The big one – do you really want to give a gift to everyone and is this gesture in line with you, your brand and your business philosophy. & it’s certainly not a problem is its not! There is never an expectation that your clients will receive anything other than the service you offer so never feel obligated just because others in your lane are doing the same thing.
2. Budget – if you’ve decided on to include a gift as part of your client experience, be sure to include this in your overall service pricing.
3. Branding – now before you scream “but that’s expensive!!!”, custom branding can come in many forms. Start small and think about your notecards, stickers and tissue paper. Branding can be big and bold and badass, but it can also be small, simply and stylish. It goes both ways.
4. When you’re building / searching for your ideal client gift, think about whether those gifts are reflective of you. At the end of the day, your name is attached to this gift so it should be an extension of your and your business.
& lastly… The all important gift message – take the time to think about what the words you want to say & try not to go over the top (cough, cough ‘word vomit’).
