This reel is in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically as seen in the photos. The Saltist Gekkabijin was designed specifically for light saltwater game with its lower 4.4:1 gear ratio, tapered spool and short 35mm handle, absolutely perfect for Rockfish, Aji or any other light species. The olive green highlights on the spool perfectly compliment the black body, this is definitely one of our favourite colour schemes from the old school Daiwa range!

The Soare lineup is designed specifically for saltwater finesse applications, it is extremely popular amongst Aji and Rockfish anglers in Japan. This particular Soare is the high-end model which is manufactured in Japan. The Soare 30 2500HGS is a high speed finesse weapon with its bespoke 6.0:1 gear ratio, giving the angler the ability to gain line quickly on fish. This powerhouse of a reel looks stunning with its orange highlights and EVA k**b, a truly special beast that’s a must have in a Shimano enthusiasts’ arsenal!

For Sale: Daiwa Morethan Branzino 3000

This reel is in good condition as seen in the photos, mechanically the reel is extremely smoothly and has had minimal use throughout its life. Daiwa released the original Morethan Branzino as a limited release model in 2008. The reel became an instant classic with its gloss black body, gold highlights and its gorgeous carbon spool sidewalls. Daiwa took a Certate Hyper Custom body and paired it with an Exist rotor to make this special beast. The reel had ultimate durability with its large Hyper Digigear gearset, but also had a light handle feel because of the lightweight rotor. This is still one of the best seabass reels that money can buy today, finding one in this condition will only get harder and harder!

This rod is in new condition as seen in the photos, it has never been used and still has plastic on the cork. Hayashi is famous for their beautifully crafted wooden jigs and has been around for decades in Japan. The ‘Monkey Stick Classic’ design ethos was to blend modern rod building technology with a quaint and beautiful design. The rod stays true to traditional eging rod characteristics in terms of feel and has a beautiful parabolic action. The rod features a wooden bamboo paint scheme throughout the blank, a beautifully sculpted wooden reel seat and gorgeous green highlights which complements the bamboo theme beautifully! This is a seriously cool piece for any eging enthusiast who wants something a little different.

This reel is in good condition mechanically and is extremely smooth, cosmetically it has marks as seen in the photos. The Ignis is Daiwa’s idea of the ultimate lightweight finesse spinning reel. Daiwa made an effort to keep the weight to a minimum with a magnesium alloy handle, anti-reverse switch delete and Zaion body construction. This reel has extremely light handle inertia and incredible sensitivity as a result, a true joy to use for any finesse application!

Graphiteleader needs no introduction to any fishing tackle enthusiast, they are undoubtedly one of the best rod blank makers in Japan and supply to many other high end rod manufacturers. The Corto series is designed specifically for ajing and light game fishing. The concept of this range of rods is minimal weight, maximum sensitivity and maximum responsiveness. This particular rod comes in at a feather light 57g and is a pure joy to use with its ultra-comfortable grips, the versatile 6’10’’ makes for a well-rounded rod that can be used in many applications. The quality of the rod is outstanding as seen in the photos, the blank around the joint is unbelievably thin! We expect nothing less from a handmade rod that originates from Japan.

This reel is in used condition mechanically and cosmetically, most noticeably the drag k**b has some wear. These original Emeraldas were released as a high-end reel suited for light saltwater fishing, it features a light weight ‘Air Metal’ magnesium body and a finesse tuned ABS spool. They have an amazing purple/green iridescent finish along with a real oak wood k**b, pictures simply do not do this reel justice! A proper example of Daiwa’s finest Japanese built pieces from the 2000’s.

This reel is in used condition as seen in the photos. The Aegis was specifically designed for extreme finesse fishing with the use of Daiwa’s ABS-R spool. Daiwa also deleted the anti-reverse switch in the pursuit for weight savings. The matte black body offset by the vivid red anodised highlights give this reel an eye-catching appearance. The Aegis is a reminder of why we enthusiasts love this era of Japanese made Daiwa reels so much.
