Just one week after the Prague Violin Making Competition, BdA completed the delivery of custom-made instruments to our clients in mainland China — fast, secure, and personal.

🌍 Thanks to our unique operating model, the Prague event became more than a competition — it became a rare and joyful gathering for our international partners in a city full of charm.

🎻✨ In today’s **BdA Feature**, I am honored to showcase another treasured instrument from my personal collection—a **2024 Triennale Bronze Medal Viola**, crafted by **Polish luthier 🇵🇱 Piotr Pielaszek**, who also received the **highest tone award** for this masterpiece.

Piotr joined **Bottega degli Amici** in **2019**, and over the years, he has become not only an esteemed collaborator but also a cherished friend and mentor. I still remember my **first encounter with his work in 2018**—as a fellow luthier, I was utterly stunned. It was hard to believe that such craftsmanship came from a Polish maker under 30 years old. At that time, I must admit, I barely even knew where Poland was on the map.

Our collaboration has been both joyful and seamless. Since joining **BdA**, Piotr has delivered an outstanding collection of award-winning instruments, including (but not limited to):

🏆 **2021 Wieniawski Competition** – Gold & Silver Medal Violins
🏆 **2021 Triennale Competition** – Silver Medal Violin (Gold Medal not awarded)
🏆 **2022 VSA Competition** – Silver Medal Violin & Silver Medal Cello *(the latter is another piece in my personal collection)*
🏆 **2023 Philharmonie de Paris Competition** – Gold Medal Violin
🏆 **2024 Triennale Competition** – Bronze Medal Viola
🏆 **2024 VSA Competition** – Special Jury Prize for Violin

I doubt that **this extraordinary record will be broken anytime soon**.

In **2023**, I spent an unforgettable **40 days in his Poznań workshop**—a time filled with learning, inspiration, and most importantly, the gift of true friendship.

🎻✨ In today’s BdA Feature, I am delighted to showcase a violin crafted by French luthier 🇫🇷 Roland Belleguic, who joined BdA in 2023.

This remarkable instrument was his competition entry for the prestigious Triennale International Violin Making Competition in Italy. Crafted from a striking one-piece back, it exudes a bold and distinctive character.

From my personal perspective, this was undoubtedly one of the most captivating violins I encountered during the exhibition. I have great confidence in Roland’s future—his talent and artistry speak for themselves.
