That's our cosy bookshop in the heart of Oakleigh

What began as a pop-up for just a couple of weeks last year slowly became something more homie —because of you.

Every visit, every purchase, every kind word, every shared post and every little reader who walked through our doors helped keep this dream alive.

Without your support, we simply wouldn’t be here today.

Thank you for helping our little corner grow into a warm and welcoming place filled with books, little hands, laughter, friends visiting, small and big talks ☺️

Η Γιαγιά και το Μεγάλο Μυστικό Πάρτι is coming back for one more performance this Sunday 26 July!

This is a beautiful opportunity for more children to experience Greek through puppets, play, laughter and imagination.

Something like this has been missing from Melbourne, and we truly believe it is something worth embracing and supporting.

The room was full of children, families, laughter, little voices, Greek words, and so much warmth. Seeing the children listen, answer, laugh and interact with the puppets reminded us why we do what we do 🎈

The Greek puppet theatre is coming back for one more performance! 🎭✨

After such a beautiful first show, full of little voices, laughter and Greek words filling the room, Η Γιαγιά και το Μεγάλο Μυστικό Πάρτι will return next Sunday, 26 July

Giving the opportunity to more kids experience of interacting in Greek through puppets, play and laughter!

Spots are limited, so bookings are essential.

Today I was one of the guest speakers at the launch of Mary Dallas' new book, Kosta the Greek Australian!

The book is written in English and it creates a beautiful bridge for children and families who want to connect with Greek language, culture and identity in a gentle and meaningful way. It's the kind of book that can start conversations, spark curiosity, and encourage families to explore their heritage together.

Congratulations once again, Mary Dallas, on this beautiful achievement. 💙 I truly hope Kosta the Greek Australian finds its way into many homes and becomes part of many family stories.

💙 Week 2 of School Holiday Fun! 💙

Our second and final week of school holiday events is here, and we’re finishing with stories, games and a little bit of theatre magic! ✨

🎲 Tuesday — Greek Games
11:30am – 1:00pm
Suitable for children aged 4–8 years old
With Elena (me😊)
We’ll play simple but fun games in Greek!
Using colours, movement, words and interaction — a playful way to bring the Greek language into everyday fun.

📚 Thursday — Greek Story Time
with Kyria Mary Souvlis from Zouzounia! (Great opportunity to see what their program offers and get to meet one of the educators!)
Two sessions: 10:30am & 11:30am
Everyone is welcome.

🎭 Saturday — Our Finale!
Our very first 🌟Greek Puppet Show🌟 at the shop!
"Grandma and the big secret party!🫖" I'm telling ya it's funny!
Two sessions available.
