It’s purpose is merely to help people get the word out there to help them raise awareness and gain assistance for worthy causes.

Worst part is I was part of Surf Life Saving for 10+ years and I don't recall ever being taught this.

We would like to request some public assistance if we may.

As you know Jiggle For a Cause is the community part of our NFP Tiberius Lodge Horse and Disability Mind Set Therapy Ltd which is our Company registered under ASIC's that was set up to work towards creating a Disability Therapy program on our property in Toolern Vale that assisted the disabled, their families, the community, the long term unemployed and animals.

The idea was to have playground Therapy, Horticulture Therapy, Equine Therapy a full set up for day visits for Equine Vets, Farriers and Equine Dentists to attend for locals as well as a rehabilitation program et cetera (eventually).

This has been a really SLOW PROCESS as no investors want to come on board if there is no tax offset for them.

Currently we have 45 animals in our home 95% of those animals are rescues that have come to us since we bought our property in 2015.

Currently amongst them are 4 Sulphur Crested Cockatoos
(one of which is not a rescue he is my gorgeous boy George you can find him on tiktok 🤣)

We are currently looking for discarded LARGE TRAMPOLINE FRAMES (No nets, springs or mats) in order to build a Flight Avairy for the 4 Cockatoos to be able to spread their wings and have space from one another.

All except one have been DNA Tested as males and boys need their Space.

Monkey is mostly featherless due to being released from previous unknown owners.
Therefore, during the colder periods he lives inside together with George for safety.

However, it is imperative that Monkey gets some much needed exercise and sunshine this spring and summer.

So if anyone can help with donating frames, or even galvanised mesh / chain our birds would be very appreciative as would we.

Special Olympics Nationals have been delayed from February to September 2022 due to Covid.
However, although State Comp in August was Cancelled the October Competition has been arranged to be submitted as an online video footage submission for qualifications.

SOA Victoria are still fund-raising for the Victorian Team to attend Nationals next year so we ask that Covid not Dis-hearten you and our community continue to dig deep for our disabled Athletes

HI TO MY AMAZING FOLLOWERS.

UNFORTUNATELY Special Olympics had to cancel the August State Qualifying Competition because of the unknown nature of lockdown 😪😪

But im kind of glad
Would rather our kids be safe!

However, October will still go ahead.

Nevertheless, sadly it looks like Victoria misses out on Nationals for another year.

PLEASE DON'T BE DIS-HEARTENED AS ALL DONATIONS WILL STILL GO TOWARDS THE OCTOBER COMPETION MEDALS.

WE HAVE ALSO BEEN SLOWLY GATHERING ITEM TOWARDS A RAFFLE THAT WILL BE HELD AT THE COMPETION ON THE DAY. 😁

Payment for tickets once the raffle prizes are complete will be done through Victoria Police as they have prepared a QR CODE already for the Tessler.

So a decision was made that it would be easier to put all raffle prize tickets through the same process.

Equine Police will hopefully be performing at the next event also 😄

IN THE MEANTIME WE ARE LOOKING TO SET UP AN INDOOR TRAINING FACILITY AT TIBERIUS LODGE HORSE AND DISABILITY MIND SET THERAPY LTD IN TOOLERN VALE VICTORIA.

This is a NFP that is registered under ASICs not the ACNC which means it is not set up to give tax offsets.

It was set up under ASIC so that it can work with Centrelink to provide possible solutions such as jobs for long term unemployed and apprentice schemes and education.

They are working hard to set up a 60m covered menage and a 20m coverage round yard plus extra stables to create a DISABILITY and SPECIAL OLYMPICS TRAINING FACILITY.

Tiberius Lodge Horse and Disability Mind Set Therapy Ltd would like to get a safe zone set up for the SOA KIDS asap so they can join the rest of Australia's Equine Special Olympics ranking.

If you know anyone willing to invest in this project as sponsors or willing to donate goods to help build it we would be more then appreciative.

The family are even willing to offer a caveat over their property as collateral to a long term low interest loan to pay off the costs of buying a 60m menage and stables. However, they do ask that it be considered that if this is offered, please only do so if it's low fixed interest as they only have one income as 4 members of the family have disabilities.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS - EQUINE

Good Afternoon to All

Lyndsay Davies and I thank you sincerely for taking the time out of your extremely busy days to read our very short but very sincere request for assistance for Victoria's Special Olympics Equine Team.

Special Olympics Australia is a wonderful Institution in Australia supporting our children with special needs through sport to achieve their dreams.

However, our Equine Team in Victoria is quite new and unfortunately, that means the budget for this sector is also new and limited.

On the 13th to 15th of August this year in Werribee, Victoria. We are holding our next big Special Olympics and RDA Equine Event, which is also the event for State Qualifications.

At this stage the budget is nowhere near the budget we had in the last event at the end of May at Melton RDA in order to purchase Medals or Sashes as beautiful as the pictures attached below.

Please see Attached a photo of my daughter Audrey Reserve Champion and the Champion she Admires.

In order to PURCHASE Medals and Sashes of this QUALITY for the next event, SOA EQUINE need to raise at a MINIMUM of

$500

I know right! It doesn't sound like a lot of money.

Just think if we go over that budget, it can go towards Medals for the next competition in October this year also.

Lyndsay Davies is the RDAV State Project Coordinator and a wonderfully hard working woman.

An astutely dedicated RDA employee who has now dedicated her time and effort into making a Victorian Special Olympics Team and making it big.

All of you who know me, also know how dedicated I am to giving futures to both disadvantaged and disabled children AND animals.
