Some places are built to be seen. Others are built to be remembered.

Standing in the heart of Melbourne, the Shrine of Remembrance is one of those places where architecture and history come together. Its grand steps, towering columns and perfectly balanced design create an atmosphere that feels different from anywhere else in the city.

Built as a memorial to honour the men and women of Victoria who served in the First World War, the Shrine has become a lasting symbol of remembrance, courage and sacrifice. Every detail carries meaning, and every visit offers a chance to pause and reflect on the stories of those who served.

From the steps, Melbourne stretches into the distance — a modern city moving forward, while this historic monument quietly reminds us of the past.

I came here to capture the architecture, the views and the atmosphere, but some places make you put the camera down for a moment and simply take it all in.

There’s something special about capturing birds in their natural world — no posing, no retakes, just a moment that happens once.

From the quiet flutter of wings to the way they pause, fly, feed, and disappear into the sky, every bird has a story of its own. Sometimes you just have to slow down, look around, and wait for that perfect moment.

Sometimes, you don’t need a crowded city, a beautiful landscape, or a perfect sunset to capture something special. You just need to look up. 🌙

Tonight, the moon turned an ordinary Melbourne night sky into something magical. Its soft glow through the darkness created a peaceful moment that was impossible to ignore.

I stopped for a moment, looked up, and captured this beautiful moon — a simple moment, but one that felt completely different through the camera.

The world keeps moving, but the moon has its own way of making everything feel still. 🌌

Hidden among the streets of Melbourne, Uniacke Ct feels like a place where the city decided to turn a quiet corner into a canvas. 🎨

What looks like an ordinary laneway from a distance slowly reveals another side of Melbourne — walls filled with colour, characters, textures and stories. Every artwork feels like a different voice, adding its own personality to the space.

Walking through the laneway, you realise that Melbourne’s art isn’t always found inside galleries. Sometimes, it’s painted across a wall, tucked between buildings, waiting for someone to stop and notice.

Uniacke Ct is a reminder that art can transform even the smallest spaces. What was once simply part of the city becomes something worth exploring, photographing and remembering.
