For anyone I haven't already met thought I should introduce myself!
I'm Michaela,
I started my own small home based business from my lounge room 4 odd years ago after years of working in salons and gaining experience.
I finished my beauty diploma in 2012 & my graduate diploma of dermal therapies in 2019 & am currently doing further studies into specific skin conditions.
That lounge room business of doing lash extensions while my best friend/house mate would eat dinner and chat to us slowly moved into what was meant to be my newborns room with the cot in the corner to what I feel is now a beautiful & professional home salon (We all have to start somewhere! 😂).
I'm now in a beautiful space in Aspendale, Melbourne with my 3 year old Summer and I run my busy little business doing beauty treatments such as lash extensions, waxing, massage etc and dermal treatments to treat skin concerns.
When I first started working in the beauty/dermal industry in 2011 I became incredibly passionate about cosmeceutical science!
I became obsessed with learning about skincare, ingredients and how they changed the cellular structures.
When starting my own business I was super selective with which skincare company I wanted to go with but I found I wanted a couple of products from each range which wouldn't have been realistic with minimum orders etc which lead me to the idea of making my own cosmeceutical range!
I teamed up with an incredible pharmacist and together we created it was a massive project and took lots of research and dedication but it's now a range I'm very passionate about!
This range is cruelty free, vegan, uses pure active ingredients and leaves out all the nasties that I found so many of my clients were using on their skin daily!
So far I have found the results and feedback to be really positive. It's only now with covid I've found I have more time to actually promote my products and tell people more about it.. normal life is back to back clients and being a single mum, studying in between... So covid hasn't been all bad 😂🤦🍷
