We look for leather that’s been protected from sunlight and everyday wear - think the underside of a leather tab, behind the serial number, an interior leather panel, or even the back of the mirror on Balenciaga Motorcycle bags (easy way to tell if the old owner kept the mirror tucked into the zipped pocket!)
