Tonewood and soundboard combinations are one of the most important decisions in commissioning your bespoke acoustic guitar. One tried and true combo we keep going back to is Sinker Redwood x Otway Ranges Blackwood. Amazing clarity, projection and tone.

We completed this beautiful mid sized jumbo Distinction a little bit ago for our client's special milestone birthday. He was incredibly happy with the finished instrument.

Our client Trev loved his first Evolution so much, he decided to commission it's twin - with a few differences.

The original incantation of this Evolution LP was patterned after his original 1970's LP, right down to the original pickups which we had re-covered in gold and the weight of the instrument. As many of you know these guitars can be a little on the 'fuller figured' side so enter the Evolution's new svelte sibling. Made of lighter timbers but with the same great craftsmanship, same beautiful glue gloss finish, epic tone (those original pickups now live in the new guitar) and amazing sustain.
