As some of you may know I decided to close my business, Love Me Sugar, after seven years handcrafting sleep masks and lingerie accessories. It was a difficult decision to make but in light of the new direction my life was taking (studying writing at university and podcasting), I decided it was time to put the ruffled ribbon away, so to speak.
As part of my studies, I am off to India in February 2018 to work and live in a rural village on an innovative education project. 40K PLUS is an after school education program that utilises tablet technology to provide high-quality English education without the need for a teacher. During my one month spent in India, I will be part of the 40K PLUS Media team documenting the lives of the students and villagers in implementing the new 40K PLUS pods for children in the rural villages of Bangalore.
I am aiming to raise 750AUD towards the development and improvement of the 40K PLUS Pods, which are after school learning facilities for the local children. *LOVE ME SUGAR RAFFLE*
