Why does man stubbornly judge the Creator's hand,
Carving out abysses at the borders of the skin?
Man stops at the frontiers of day,
At the seam of tongues and forms,
He builds walls to block every way,
Forgetting the vastness that transforms.
He thinks himself exiled, a stranger inside,
Inventing abysses just to divide,
Judging the hue beneath the same tide,
Rejecting the other, tearing his side.
It is his own shadow he hunts in the light,
His own true face he pretends not to see,
While deep in the flesh, past the veil of the night,
The red, free blood dances wild and free.
Why weigh ourselves down with such heavy attire,
When the source within is divine unity?
In every gaze, where the soul catches fire,
It is the same pulse of eternity.
