There’s a cheap Aussie Food Set… and then there’s our original wooden Aussie Food Set. 🇦🇺
We first designed ours because we wanted to create a genuinely great wooden toy, packed with the little details that make kids want to touch it, pull it apart, cut it, pour it, serve it and play with it again and again.
Yes, there are cheaper versions around now. You’ll spot Aussie food sets at Kmart, ALDI, Kids Stuff and elsewhere. But cheaper doesn’t necessarily mean better value.
Because when you spend a little more on a toy, you should get more play.
🥥 Our Lamington pulls apart into 3 sections, held together with Velcro.
🍟 You get loads of individual chips, cut into different shapes and sizes.
🌈 The Fairy Bread breaks into two pieces.
🥝 The Pavlova cuts into four individual slices.
🍅 Tip the Tomato Sauce bottle and the little sauce piece pops out because obviously you need sauce on your snag.
🫙 The Vegemite lid actually comes off.
🌭 And our Bunnings-style snag comes with soft, spongy felt bread and a fabric napkin to wrap around it.
These aren’t just cute details. They’re what create open-ended, imaginative play.
Kids can run a café, make lunch, serve their mates, have a BBQ, cut the pav, pour the sauce and make their own little Aussie feast.
We’re proud that our Aussie Food Set is the original, designed right here in Sydney and made with the quality, detail and play value we’ve always believed children’s toys should have.
Sometimes paying a little more really does get you a whole lot more toy value and a toy that your kids actually play with and don’t just sitting there looking pretty on a shelf. 🇦🇺
