Melbourne Books

Melbourne Books Independent publisher of nonfiction, fiction and poetry.

Melbourne Books is an independent publishing house founded by David Tenenbaum, who has over twenty years of publishing experience. As a company, we strive to help our authors tell their stories — be they stories about an influential figure, a personal journey, an imagined adventure, or the history of a place or organisation. Over the years we have published an array of titles, ranging from academi

c works and books on art, to biographies, novels and how-to books. Our commitment to storytelling is especially evident in our annual anthology Award Winning Australian Writing, which showcases the winners of both established and small-scale short story and poetry competitions throughout the country.
