So we all hear shoe companies advertising our shoes are Full Grain Leather but for consumers buying these shoes do they ever wonder what on earth is full grain leather?
I'll sum it up as:
"The hides that have not been sanded or buffed to remove imperfections & natural marks on the surface of the hide".
The grain remains giving the hide more strength & durability. The grain also have more breathability resulting in less moisture from prolonged contact. Rather than wearing out it will develop a natural sheen to it's surface with time and wear. High quality leather and footwear are often made from this kind of leather.
