The Shining Stars Dies (this month's Product of the Month) are also great for scrapbooking. Every year I like to record if I have added any new Christmas ornaments to the tree or displays. We love to collect ornament when we travel and I also pick up a cute one or two each year. Last year we lost Paul's Dad, so we popped his photo on a hanging frame for the tree too. I love to look back over these pages.
Three big stars cut with the Shining Stars dies out of the Timeless Christmas DSP were the base of the 12x12" page on Willow White. I printed the photos at 7.2cm (or 2 7/8") square using my home printer. The main 'Christmas' word was die-cut in Real Red using the Words for the Season dies. Subtitle and journalling printed out. The rest of the stars, chipboard and star border journalling card were all things from my scrapbook stash which I am determined to use more of! I recently sorted through all my embellishments and have a container just for stars and arrows as I collect so many of them. That came in super handy for this page.
What are you scrapbooking right now? I seem to like to scrapbook last years Christmas photos this time of year, but other pages / albums I want to get to soon are about our Alaska trip this year, garden pages from the last house, and everyday life. Every time I scrapbook I am reminded how much I love it, and how much I need to do more!
Don't forget to grab your Shining Stars dies while stocks last.
