[West Footscray House] project development update. Had our first design development presentation today with the clients. Gradually building up the layers of materials (slightly) challenging clients expectations of a white box proposal. Hope they warm up to it ;)

Again still slowly exploring AI in the image production, again showing the base image we sent through to get AI enhanced:)

[Geelong townhouse] A milestone for us, after deciding to relocate to Geelong, finally we our first Geelong project started onsite!

A 2 storey townhouse with tonnes of potential and character, we want to work with the existing materials, but opening up the kitchen to create a more connected and continuous space for everyday living.

Its still early days on site, but we are starting to see the key ideas taking shape.

Included 2 before photo for reference.

Yes once once again using AI to help enhance the image.

Thanks for realising the vision.

[West Footscray House] working title. Excited to get the design of this new extension approved this week. A very common problem to traditional cottages are its small rooms and long corridor, the new extension seeks to create an openness more apprporiate to current lifestyle. There's even a garage/studio in the back for maximum flexibility and possibility of 3 generation living.

Also to note this is our very first test of AI generated images, its honestly quite scarey how powerful they are. Thought to provide 2 images of the original images for comparison, changes are subtle, mostly just landscape and lighting, wouldn't trust AI to do the actual design yet, will let you know if that ever becomes our design process. :)

Love the positive reactions from the clients!

[Carlton Library Terrace] Another project broke ground this week. A Victorian terrace in Carlton is being reimagined with a new rear extension—interestingly, following closely on the heels of another terrace we recently completed just 10 minutes away with an almost identical layout. Yet, shaped by very different briefs, the outcomes couldn’t be more distinct. Carlton Library Terrace is designed for a retiring academic couple, centred around their shared love of books and quiet living, with spaces to house and celebrate a lifetime collection. In contrast, the earlier project responded to a busy family of five, prioritising independence and retreat as children grow into young adults.
Excited to see this one come to life in collaboration with
