Pisgah are making finely crafted old time banjos in Asheville, North Carolina. This Rambler has some unique designs featuring a stainless steel spun-over rim similar to early Stewarts but being stainless, this banjo will not warp over the years like so many of those old banjos have.
Due to the stainless rim, Pisgah say that you can remove the Dobson ring should the mood take you. I guess that's one way to hear what a Dobson ring actually does. The choice of stainless, brass and copper is also pretty cool.
