A complete set of twelve creamware La Fontaine Fable plates, decorated in the Lessore workshop around 1870; the blanks by Wedgwood. TGhe illustrations are after Dore's drawings for the book of fables.

Eleven bear a monogram or PT, PLT, or perhaps PZ, which has not been identified. The style is so much Lessore's that it seems all but certain they were decorated in his workshop and under his direction.

Jelly glasses come in a number of different shapes and sizes; this early example frim around 1730 is a classic. Bell-shaped bowk, ear-shaped handles, and a domed foot. And all in lovely condition.

A particularly nice glass, this. Enamelled in the Beilby manner; nice to find an example with swags instead of the usual fruiting vine. Also unusual to find an example with a plain stem, rather then the more usual opaque twist. Lovely condition, and a lovely glass.

A crested coffee cup and saucer, by Minton. Clearly made for someone with money to spare, I can only marvel at what the entire set must have looked like.

A commemorative rummer, marking the death Admiral Lord Nelson on 21 October 1805. A large piece with plenty of engraving, including the HMS Victory, which he commanded.
