What a fantastic few days at Sheepvention Rural Expo | Agriculture Show in Hamilton 🐑✨

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello and shared in the excitement with us. It genuinely means so much. And a huge thank you to the Sheepvention team for having us, you put on such a wonderful event.

It was such a treat to be surrounded by so many other creatives too. There’s nothing quite like that energy when a whole room full of makers comes together.

Sirene Sea Pearls are part of Sheepvention 2026 and the town of Hamilton will come alive for the event of the year

We love that both wool and pearls come from nature so it's only natural that they be worn together. We are so excited to see the latest in pure wool fashion and get ideas on how to marry them with our extensive range of pearl jewellery.

I’ve been working with New Zealand paua pearls lately and I’m completely smitten 💙💚

Paua shells are something else. Those deep blues and greens shift and shimmer depending on the light, and when the abalone forms a blister pearl inside, you get the most stunning blue colour you’ll ever see in a stone. It’s honestly one of nature’s best kept secrets.

I did my honours on abalone back in the late 70s, so this one’s close to my heart. I know these shells inside and out, and I love bringing that knowledge into every piece I make.
The best part is you can choose your own pearl size and we can work together to design something just for you. Every pearl comes with a certificate of authenticity too, so you know exactly what you’re getting.

Hamilton Sheepvention 2026 - Sirene Sea Pearls is coming to you!!

Sunday 2nd August and Monday 3rd August - next weekend - not long away now!

Sirene Sea Pearls will have a Trade Site in the Home Paddock pavilion, and our range is extensive and full of both South Sea and Freshwater Pearls in every colour imaginable

Hamilton is the wool capital of Australia, and this event is the annual attraction bringing thousands of people to the area near the Grampians where there is plenty to see and do.

Come along and experience hand crafted wool products alonside our natural pearl gem products which team perfectly for any outfit winter and summer!
