These are some of the dishes I have cooked for the week (and remembered to 📸)

1. Chicken & leek pie. Recipe is by (I just added in a leek and only half an onion). So delicious and so easy.

2. Broccoli pasta e ceci - recipe by Tasty and pretty easy to whip up.

3. Bò kho - my favourite dish so far. How have I gone so long without making this?! My dish was inspired by both and

Preserving is relatively easy, once you know what you’re doing! It has been around for hundreds of years, and I believe everyone should be well versed in canning. You don’t need to own a farm to live like you are on a farm 😉

I was gifted some pears, and they’ve been sitting in my fruit bowl for 2 weeks ripening. Yesterday, I water bathed them into honey syrup pears 🍐 ❤️ We will enjoy these as a sweet snack, layered over icecream, waffles or pancakes (so many possibilities!). They will sit shelf stable for MONTHS!

I also had a small amount of homegrown tomatoes that needed processing, so I made one lonely jar of Passata 🍅
