Babe's Eggs (or "Babe's" as it is known to our family of customers), is a long-standing family run staple at the South Melbourne Market. The business was originally established in 1987 and is now working well into its 28th year of operations, spanning 3 generations of Babe's family-owned management and staffing. The store is a specialist retailer in Free-range eggs, cold-extracted Victorian honeys and home-made preserves. The store's long-term owner is Adrienne Lloyd, the original 'Babe' who still puts her heart into the way she runs her business and her home-made jam and sauces 'Sam's Jam's' named after her husband. We operate regular market hours and welcome old friends and new customers alike! So come down and sample our delicious honeys and top-quality eggs with the assistance of our dedicated staff.
