🤖 TSVRC Build & Learn Day

Ready to get your bot battle-ready? Whether you're mid-build, starting from scratch, or just curious about combat robotics, this arvo is for you.

Time: Saturday 25 July 2026, 1:30pm to 4:00pm
Place: Rising Sun FPV,
Cost: $10 (pizza included!)

What's happening:

🔧 Build time - Bring along the bot you've been working on, or grab a kit right there from the Rising Sun FPV store and put it together on the day.

🎤 Mini talks - At the start of each hour, Marcus will run a 10-15 minute talk covering a different combat robotics topic, then it's back to the tools.

🔥 Soldering stations - 4 fully equipped soldering stations with everything you need, thanks to our sponsor Jaycar - www.jaycar.com.au

💻 BYO gear welcome - Bring your own tools, or even your laptop if levelling up your CAD skills is the goal.

🍕 Pizza around 3pm, included in your $10 entry.

At the Melbourne Combat Robotics competition, we caught up with OJ to take a closer look at his awesome ant-weight robots and hear about the design, strategy, and engineering behind them.
