Hobby Habit Hobby Habit is a proud family business established in 1986. RC racing was a significant part of the Hobby Habit culture for many years.

We have a wonderful team of hobby enthusiasts who are excited to provide you with the service you need to get the most out of your hobby. We have an extensive range available which includes Model Kits, Radio Control Cars, Boats, Model Railways, Die Cast Cars, Planes, Slot cars and so much more! p and running. Some background on Hobby Habit’s journey…

What initially started out as a small Retail outlet in the Sefton Plaza shopping Centre in South Australia has grown with two retail outlets in Melrose Park and Blair Athol. In addition to our bricks and mortar, we also support our customers Australia wide and internationally through our website. Our weekly event in Kilburn was called ‘Whip around Way Street’. As the event grew in popularity, Hobby Habit relocated the racing to a larger venue at the Pooraka Markets, which was shortly followed by another move to The Parks Community Centre. When our Melrose Park store opened in 2006, Hobby Habit opened our onsite (both on-road and off-road) racing tracks which hosted many weekly events and larger competition events. The tracks closed permanently in 2017 and we still love hearing stories from customers who attended our racing events over the years! In 2019 Ash took over the family business and continues to be passionate about providing quality hobbies and service for our customers.
