Today we setup our pilot popup food relief market. It was a dark popup and those attending for our usual services were blown away with beautiful fresh produce. Our team did a marvellous job setting up ✨ and the community are well nourished today 🥕🥦🍉

Favourite quote of the day: “this is better than the VIC market!” 😁

There is more to come in this space, stay tuned over the next two months 🍉🍋🍓🥔🥦🥕

Our enjoy a complimentary meal each shift. Today’s lunch is a healthy , & salad 🥗. Shout out to vollie Maria-Anna for putting this together today 🤤

Navigating pandemic restrictions and working with low numbers the past few years has been a long and challenging time. Our vollies have been there serving faithfully serving week in, week out without fail. 💪🌟. This holiday season we will be taking a break from daily service in our food relief program to allow our team to rest, recover and celebrate for the week between Christmas and the New Year ❤️. Our Earth Village Opshop team will power on, with rest and breaks throughout the EVOP team later in January 2023📆.

We are aware that this time of year is often challenging for people requiring access to food relief services as many services close, so this year we will be giving out pre-prepared staples boxes ahead of the closure period to help those most in need. To reserve one of our three box types (see image below) please: see Breadland team in person or, email [email protected], or, SMS 0478 965 735.

During the week of Christmas, from Wednesday 21st December - Friday 23rd December our free meal will be Christmas themed and continue being served as takeaway only.

We wish you all an encouraging time of joy, hope and holiday spirit as we remember the reason for this season: the birth of Jesus Christ as God who came to earth to save and restore relationship with God and all humanity for then, now and all eternity.

"This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we may have eternal life through him." 1 John 4:9
