Same day harvest, hives in same place - yet 2 completely different honeys. Never ceases to amaze me how varied honey can be. Top honey flavour is eucalypt and lemon with a sweet finish. A clever beekeeper I know suggested it is peppermint tree honey. It’s the palest honey we’ve ever had. The bottom honey flavour is butterscotch with a hint of caramel and a more rounded mouthfeel. Both available to try & buy today before we close for a week .

Last minute Christmas present? Local Menora honey - just bottled this morning. We are at our Menora home most days for honey tasting and sales. Pricing is $16kg, and jars come in various sizes from $5 to $20.

Our bees just love the flowering Sapote above our hives. Food sources in June are scarce, so they take the tiniest break in the rain to gather from the tree.
We are closed for tastings and sales from July 3 for 3 weeks. There are still jars of autumn honey if you’re interested. Message us if you’d like some great local honey
