My two grandmothers were my role models who taught me to knit and sew (but could never get the hang of crocheting). Now that I have a newborn I am loving sewing baby and children wear. My 2026 entries for the Perth Royal Show. Judging has finished so I can now share - I came 3rd in the 'theme' category which is the hat, blouse and overalls. Other categories were:

Using my RDO wisely. Pattern cut for my biggest/largest project yet - 43 pieces 😳😳😳😳😳. Now I have 8.5 days to sew it together. No pressure 🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣. Oh in between working full-time time and being a mum of course 😭😭😭😭🥹🥹🥹

Best day today food prepping with my big girl and little girl for when the new grandbaby comes - 35 meals, lots of talking, laughing, and the best bit........ I got to feel the baby move 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Nothing better than being a grandma and watching your own baby become a mummy 😍

Oh what a glorious day. Weather was perfect, absolutely bustling with customers and so many beautiful dogs. It really felt like I have come out of winter hibernation 😂

The only problem with such a successful day is I need to restock before my next market 😊

Yay winter is over and I am coming out of hibernation 😂.

Looking forward to this Sunday's market at Whiteman Park - back with kids overalls, bibs, burp cloths, scrunchies and lots more

I'm deep in Royal Show prep and went to rethread my overlocker 😱😱😱😱😱😱

HORRIFIED 😨😨😨😨😨

I keep this machine pretty clean normally but it's had a massive workout lately and it just built up. The brush wasn't going to cut it so out came the vacuum. Now she's beautiful again 🥰

Unfortunately I can't show you what I've been working on lately as it is my entries to the Perth Royal Show and we aren't allowed to put on social media until after judging, so you will just have to look at some new fabric I brought 🤷😘
