- such a delightful day stabbing shapes…otherwise known as needle felting within the lines (using cookie cutter shapes!)

- at the end…as is often said…their was delight in time spent without the worries of home and the world 🥰

- more workshops are in the calendar in the lead-up to the festive season…with some christmas colour and a good dose of gingerbread cookies 🤎

- coming soon on the website…bags of 50 grams of hand cleaned alpaca fleece 🦙🦙

- special made to order and processed slowly with care 🫠

- perfect for hand crafts…all fibres are different (some more hairy than others) but all perfect for both needle and wet felting projects.

- for example…our standard felted bowls use approx 25-30 grams of fibre each.

- shipping currently only within Australia 🇦🇺🦘

- cleaning fleece…always cleaning fleece 🫣🤗

- alpacas roll in the dirt and grass at least 3 times per day…so there is lots of dirt and veggie matter tangled in their fleece.

- so far this is the process that gives the best outcome for us (clean fleece to felt with) BUT it’s incredibly labour intensive (it takes a lot of patience and time) and there must be a better way 🤔

- we’re researching some equipment that will cost a bit AND take up a lot of space…we’ll keep you informed of the journey ahead 😬

- for now…I better get back to this ✖️✖️✖️

- when a family reaches out for a special birthday event 🦙🦙

- our biggest workshop yet (8 felters)…and a great family vibe (family rivalry added a whole new dimension to bowl making 🥰)

- not much footage of the felting as the day was incredibly busy…but happy faces and beautiful felted bowls summed up the essence of this workshop.

- if you have a family event or just a squad of friends wanting to try something new…this could be that special adventure.

- an unexpected break from socials 🤍🤍

- we’ve been having a well needed rest for the mind, body and soul…some down-time after the bowl-madness came at just the right time.

- lots happening behind the scenes…fleece cleaning, product development, precious family gatherings, saying goodbye to a loved fur-grandbaby 🫠

- we’re here, plodding away in the background, not so much on the interwebs…but we’re definitely here and will have lots to share in the coming weeks.

- more family adventures over the weekend, then back into more ‘normal’ after that.

- hope your April has been filled with love ###
