You never know what a day will bring.
Today I have lost a Mentor of over 40 years.

Kancho Dr Richard Bradford. - Founder and Owner of Goshin Ryu Karate Australia.

Richard was my Head Sensei since 1985, while I trained under Ian Thomas at Wagga, then moved to Richard's Sydney Dojos at Liverpool, Bankstown and Blacktown.

Richard, whilst a tough trainer, always had time to chat with students, always imparting wisdom, technique assistance, and deep care for his students.
It was an absolute honour at all but one of my gradings to have Richard wrap my new belt on, and to bow to his presence to return his respect that he always gave to us.

He was funny, caring and kind, but would flog you with thousands of pushups, squat kicks, and destroy your legs with Riding Horse stance, wall sits and stretches every session. But you always went back. You always wanted to be better. To learn from him, and to grow from his care.

When I broke 4 ribs at my brown belt grading, it was Richard who carried me off the mat and cared for me.

I will remember him with respect, and love.
Sorry Boss, was 2 off that elusive Black.
Thank you Sensei. OUS
Rest easy, no more pushups.

Closed due to theft.
I will be scouring video footage and doing police reports. A,warning to anyone who has been in the sale only pokemon folders in the last 4 weeks, I WILL be pressing charges if i find it on video.
UNLESS THE CARDS APPEAR IN MY LETTERBOX BY 9AM TOMORROW.
The absolute poor behaviour of a number of Pokemon "collectors" is astounding. Sulking and abuse because YOU cant follow instructions, YOU dont listen or read is appalling. And the constant theft is disgusting.
Thank these thieves for the changes about to hit.
