I grew up being the good little Italian girl.
Do as you’re told. Keep everyone happy. Don’t upset anyone. Be the peacemaker. Put everyone else before yourself.
And for a very long time, I did exactly that.
I became the people pleaser. The one who worried about what everyone thought. The one who made herself smaller so other people could feel comfortable.
But somewhere along the way, I realised…
I don’t want that for my girls.
I want my daughters to know exactly who they are and never apologise for it. I want them to take up space, use their voices, have boundaries, follow their dreams and shine unapologetically.
And if someone doesn’t like who they are when they’re being completely themselves?
Then they’re simply not their people.
Opening Soul Warrior Collective has taught me more about myself than I ever expected.
When you start following your own path, standing up for yourself and creating a life that feels true to you, you begin to see people differently. You see who genuinely supports you, who celebrates you—and sometimes you see true colours from people you thought would always stand beside you.
That can hurt. But it can also set you free.
Because one of the biggest lessons I’ve learnt is that no one is coming to save you.
Sometimes you have to become your own hero.
Your own protector.
Your own provider.
You have to trust yourself, back yourself and know that whatever happens, you’ve got you.
Today I can say I’m incredibly proud of the woman I’ve become.
I had a dream—and I made it happen.
I created Soul Warrior from my heart. Through the hard days, tears, fear and doubt, I kept going.
And to every person who has supported me, encouraged me, walked into my shop, placed an order, shared a post or simply believed in what I was creating—I see you. Your support has never gone unnoticed, and I’m more grateful than you know. 🤍
But most of all, I’m proud that my girls get to watch their mum choose herself, follow her dreams and become her own Soul Warrior.
Be your own hero.
Have your own back.
Never dim your light to make somebody else comfortable.
This is me. Unapologetically. 🤍✨
