A little update from us.
My daughter, Emily is getting a cochlear implant tomorrow, and we’re all so excited for her🙌🏼
Because of her condition, there’s a chance she may lose more of her vision in the future, so being able to access sound could make such a huge difference to the way she experiences the world.
We also feel so lucky to have so many wonderful people around her. Her teachers, therapists, doctors and everyone involved have been so kind and supportive, and have all been working together to make her life the best it can be. We’re incredibly grateful to every one of them.
A little shop update while we focus on Emily and her recovery:
We’ll be closing early today at around 1pm so we can get ready for tomorrow.
Karin potsymeizy will be helping out in the shop for the next couple of weeks, and for now our opening hours will be:
Thursday – Sunday
10am – 3pm
We’re giving Emily a little extra time to recover, so we’re not completely sure yet when we’ll be back to our normal hours. We’re hoping for around mid to late September, and I’ll post an updated calendar once we know for sure.
The online store will stay open as usual, but orders may take a little longer than normal to pack and send, so please allow a little extra time for them to arrive.
