From sell-out shows around Australia to the banks of the Pioneer River, we're absolutely thrilled to welcome Murphy's Pigs as the headline performers for our 100th Anniversary Bluewater Fling!

Known for their infectious energy, brilliant musicianship, humour and crowd participation, Murphy's Pigs have built a reputation as one of Australia's favourite Celtic rock bands. If you've seen them before, you'll know exactly why people keep coming back for more. And if you haven't — you're in for an absolute treat!

The band will kick off the celebrations with a performance from 1:30pm, leading into the Bluewater Fling festivities, before returning from 6-830pm for a 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 concert to keep the celebrations rolling into our community Ceilidh.

While Murphy's Pigs are the headline act, the Bluewater Fling is so much more — featuring massed pipe bands, Highland dancing, Scottish culture, great food and a fantastic family atmosphere as we celebrate 100 years of the Mackay & District Pipe Band.
