DON’T FORGET YOUR BAR NOSE
A quality chainsaw bar is an investment, but one of the simplest maintenance jobs is also one of the easiest to overlook — greasing the sprocket nose.
Premium bar manufacturers including Cannon, GB and Oregon recommend sprocket-nose lubrication as part of regular guide bar maintenance. GB even includes the greasing recommendation on its bar packaging, while Cannon recommends greasing its replaceable sprocket tips every time you refuel.
✅ Helps lubricate the sprocket-nose bearing
✅ Reduces friction and heat
✅ Helps reduce premature wear
✅ Takes only seconds to do
✅ Particularly important on hard-working professional bars
Our Bar Nose Grease Gun Adapter fits most standard grease gun couplers and makes it quick and easy to grease sprocket-nose guide bars fitted with a lubrication port.
A small amount of preventative maintenance can help you get the best service life from your bar.
