Have you managed to catch our new window yet?! It's our friends from the Mirboo North Men's Shed. With a window dedicated to displaying some of their community projects made from timber and also a gallery of framed projects featuring the groups they've partnered with in our community.
✨Yep, we're in there too✨
There's contact details for those interested in more information on our local group. There's also a petition on our counter asking government for more funding for our Victorian Mens Shed movement. This group is a win-win for everyone!

Here's a great opportunity for all the crafty types amongst us ... This weekend at The ArtSpace

To mark the end of winter, we’re having a ‘Stock Your Stash’ fundraiser sale in our back workshop space this weekend - you’ll be able to fill a brown paper shopping bag with all the fabric, yarn, vintage sewing patterns and scrapbook supplies that your heart desires, for only $10!
As we’re a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by local volunteers, sales from our craft destashes go towards covering our rising costs - such as rent, power and insurance. This means that we can continue offering a space for local Gippsland artists to offer their wares for sale, and for local people to support them!
Come in and snag a bargain this weekend only - and with market day on tomorrow as well, why not make a day of it in one of the most gorgeous towns in Gippsland (if we say so ourselves)!

🏡 81b Ridgway Mirboo North - between the hardware store and Grand Ridge Project
🕙 Open Wednesday to Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 11-3
🛍 Support Gippsland artisans, shop small and local at the ArtSpace

Last night our little committee was invited to attend the Mirboo North Scouts Annual Reports and Presentation evening. The Scout Hall was buzzing with happy children from every age level of scouting, Joeys, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers. All levels of Mirboo North Scouting were involved in the evening, definitely not a boring meeting event. Guests even had a go at knot tying! Wonderful to hear that 3 MN scouts will be attending next year's World Scout Jamboree in Poland! Our Op Shop was thanked for the time the scouts have in the shop, it was so exciting to see first hand what fundraising dollars mean to one of our user groups. It enables them to keep doing the amazing things they can offer the youth in our community. 💚⚜️💚

🎉 A new window has arrived! 🎉
This one is extra special as we're featuring our very own Julie! We could not let the fact that she's just had a milestone birthday slip quietly by....that's not how things are done when it comes to Jules!!
You all know that part of Julie’s weekly ‘Jules Gems’ program is to work every Thursday at the Op Shop. She always helps Kylie with the window dressings, so we thought it would be fun to celebrate Julie and her 60th birthday - giving her her very own window display... Capturing all the love, fun and good vibes that she brings with her every time she's working in the shop. We also wanted our window to showcase all the decorations - the bunting, the 'Happy Birthday' banner, the patchwork table runners, the mosaic vase, and the fact that she made EVERYONE a handmade brooch gifted to each guest on arrival to her party.....
🎉🎉 Julie HANDMADE all of this!! 🎉🎉

Happy Birthday Jules ! We're so glad that you're part of our team, xx
