Chocolate Tour Guide / Shop Attendant

Due to the popularity of Charley's Chocolate, we have an opportunity for an exceptional person to join us as an additional guide.
You will be presenting the story of chocolate to our visitors in a fun, interactive, guided tour as well as attending to chocolate tastings and retail sales.
You will also assist our chocolate makers in the production area from time to time.

This is a casual position for two to four mornings per week Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30 to 2.00 and so will only suit a person living permanently in the Mission Beach, Tully, Innisfail area.

To be considered you will need to have:
• A passion for food, chocolate and all things Australian.
• Great communication skills.
• Confident outgoing personality
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Reliable transport.
• Flexibility re working days including weekends.

In return you’ll get:
Entry into the exciting food tourism industry.
Specialised training by experienced presenters.
Remuneration in line with your skill and experience.
Hugely satisfying work.
Chocolate samples.

Experience in a customer focussed area like retail or hospitality is really useful. Experience as a tour guide or winery cellar door tasting or similar is a big winner too.
