Mako Oil is pretty amazing stuff. There’d hardly be a day go by when I don’t use it around the house, shed, boat or tackle storage area. It has completely transformed my gear maintenance routine, with massive benefits to the performance and longevity of all my fishing tackle, boat fittings, tools and so on. But it doesn’t end there. It’s the bee’s knees for restoring leather, vinyl, plastic… and timber! I’ve just given our rustic, re-cycled wood outdoor table on the deck a spruce up… Check the before and after images on the right! Light spray of Mako Oil and a wipe over with a soft cloth breathes new life into so many materials. Seriously… if you haven’t tried it, get onto it! It’s made with natural, fish processing waste that would otherwise be discarded! Very little odour, and what there is fades within hours. Magic!
As a statement of interest, Mako have advertised with us since day one of Fishotopia, and we’re very grateful to them for that, but the fact is, we’d use this stuff whether they were supporters of our endeavors or not. If you don’t believe me, try it for yourself. You be the judge. You can thank me later. 😉
