ATTITUDE AUSTRALIA – APPLICATIONS FOR CASUAL POSITIONS SEPTEMBER 2026

Minimum criteria for the upcoming positions:
1. Must be 16 years of age or older.
2. Available to work on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Not all staff will be rostered to work every weekend but the ability to work on Saturdays is essential for all positions at Attitude Australia.
3. Available to work at either our Mitchell store or our Phillip store as required.
4. Must already have a Tax File Number and a Superannuation account or be willing to set one up quickly.
5. Must be able to provide two references. If this is your first part-time position, the type of referee can be discussed.
6. Longer term: availability to work some weekdays or weekday afternoons, particularly during school holidays and the busy Back to Dance period from mid-January to mid-February (prior to school terms starting). This will be discussed with short-listed candidates.

Skills we are looking for:
1. A warm personality to help provide a great customer experience.
2. A willingness to learn and become a valuable team member.
3. Attention to detail as you will help manage stock, orders and payments.
4. A dance or performance background can be very useful but is not essential. For example, this might include (but is not limited to) Aerial or Acrobatics, Dance or Theatre, Calisthenics, Cheer, Physie, or Gymnastics.
5. Previous experience in retail or similar customer service positions. This can be very useful but is not essential.

What we would like to learn about you from your application:
1. Your responses addressing the minimum criteria above.
2. Your responses addressing as many of the skills we are looking for as possible; remember, you don't have to have them all right now.
3. If you are currently dancing or performing, your studio or club name.
4. Anything unique about you that you believe would make you a great Attitude Australia team member.
5. The names and contact details (phone and email) of your referees, but you do not need to provide the references with your application.
