The blooms of this magnificent Magnolia open in late spring, gracing the garden with rich yellow tones. ‘Sunsation’ is a perfectly-shaped, floriferous tree popular for use as a garden focal point. This variety is very uniform, requiring no pruning to hold its form. Quickly growing to a mature size of 25 to 30 feet tall and 30 feet wide, this is a trouble-free, glorious performer of a plant, tolerant of cold, heat and humidity.

An interesting species , producing its violet-purple, cylindrical cones, 5-7.5cm long , even on specimens only 50cm high. A tall-growing tree ultimately, very slow to make a tree in cultivation although brilliant conical habit . In 5-10 years a perfect conical shrub 2-3 metres , with beautiful Purple to Blue cones and dense dark green needles … Korean fir, is an endemic species of fir native to higher mountains of South Korea , including Jeju Island ...
