I was in Th e Black Forest in May this year to select new stock and the latest and top of the line clock at Hones of Titisee-Nuestadt was the ‘ Family of Bears’.
With out a doubt this is a most beautiful creation from Wolfgang Trenkle, owner,director and designer of Hones cuckoo clocks.
The solid wood carved case supports a family of bears where the littlest bear runs from one parent to the other whilst the the dancers and mill wheel turn and the music plays.
Such detail of not only bears but deer,squirrels and wood peckers adorn the case.

Clocks are now arriving and my Black Forest afternoon tea just a memory and a picture.
