Hey guys! Not our usual content, but this one is worth sharing! Mont Albert Village is hosting a Moon Festival this Saturday 19th September, 11am to 2pm, and it is going to be a really fun day in the community.

Here is what is happening:
Lion Dancers will kick things off in the car park right outside Milsims and Boulevard Cafe before making their way up Hamilton Street to the Plaza. From there, a 20 minute drumming spectacle will take over, plus activities for the kids.

There is also a village-wide treasure hunt for the kids! — they pick up a map, collect stamps from six shops around the village, and bring them back to the Plaza to claim a prize.

It is a great excuse to come down to the village, soak up the atmosphere, and — while you are here — pop into Milsims for all the usual good stuff. We will be open and very much ready to help you spend your money on games.

Good news for Wingspan fans — we have got two great new things in store!!

First up, Wingspan Pocket. A brand new compact card game version of the beloved Wingspan, designed by Elizabeth Hargrave. Same gorgeous bird theme, same satisfying gameplay DNA, but in a smaller, faster, more portable package. Perfect if you love Wingspan but want something you can throw in a bag and play anywhere.

And for anyone wanting to expand their existing Wingspan collection — the Wingspan Fan-Designed Bird Card Packs have also just landed. Each pack adds a fresh set of new birds to your base game drawn from a specific region of the world. We have got six packs available, each sold separately:

This is a massive one! 25 brand new Games Workshop products are available to pre-order this Saturday!!

This week sees a huge wave of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar releases with brand new Ogor Mawtribes and Sons of Behemat products, a fantastic selection of Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game Battleforces, and a couple of exciting new additions for The Horus Heresy!!

Something for nearly every hobbyist this week - do not sleep on this one!

Old World Battle March is coming to Milsims!

Dan (who you may remember from the other in store gaming events like the blood bowl tournament!) is running a casual Old World hit-out in store on Saturday the 19th of September. Bring a 600pt list, kick off around midday and we'll play til we're done.

No prizes, no pressure — just a great excuse to get some games in and meet fellow Old World players. All are welcome!
