Good morning magickal folk 💫
We wanted to extend apologies to anyone that has been inconvenienced or disappointed The Witches Cottage opening was delayed until 10.30am.
Kim is filling in for Tori today and as we had a Coven meeting at The Cottage till late last night, we figured it would save her a lot of travel this morning if she stayed at my place 1 hour away instead of driving her usual 2 hours each way.
We were at my kitchen bench around 7.30am preparing for Kim's departure when all of a sudden it was 8.45am - when we saw the time we blinked at each other and rubbed our eyes to check again - that can't be right, how did we lose over an hour?
Looking for clues we quickly started to see signs that something very strange had happened. Physically I seemed ok but I was feeling rather weird, a bit foggy even, like I'd suddenly woken from a strange dream.
Kim on the other hand was grinning from ear to ear and looked very dishevelled - wild hair, strange fluffy pants that couldn't be hers because they weren't black and only 1 shoe. She was holding a set of deer antlers, a bouquet of grass and a miniature backpack, she also kept muttering something about dragons.
About 10 years ago I was at an expo and somehow crossed into another dimension for a few moments. When I slammed back into my body I couldn't remember where I'd just been but everything looked different and time had shifted, it was the strangest experience.
We can only surmise that something like this must have happened this morning. Neither of us know where we went or can remember what happened but Kim said she felt like she'd had a great time.
Thank the Gods Tori will be back next week and we can go back to 'normal', we can't risk this happening again - what if we don't come back next time? We love our shop and our customers way too much and would miss you, so Earthbound we stay 🫶
The shop will be open till 4pm today and normal hours (10 - 4) will resume tomorrow.
