We have recovered stolen chainsaws many times and what we find is that the serial numbers are often ground away and stickers removed.. but one serial number often remains as it’s an inconvenience to get to - in between the crankcase 🤔

Where can you find your serial number?

1. By the muffler
2. Sticker on crankcase
3. In between the crankcases

🪚Cold starting a chainsaw?! Remember this 👇🏽

When the engine is cold, it needs a richer fuel mixture to fire. That’s exactly what the choke is designed to do. Skip this step, or leave the choke on for too long, and you can end up with a flooded engine and a lot of unnecessary pulling.

Cold engine? Use the choke.
Listen for the first “pop” or fire.
Move to the run or half-choke position (depending on your model) and start the saw.
