🌟 TODAY, WE’D LIKE TO CELEBRATE ANOTHER AMAZING MEMBER OF OUR COMMUNITY! 🌟
A huge shout-out to Frizzell, who yesterday generously donated some fantastic professional clothing racks to our Mooroopna Thrift Shop — all in excellent condition and ready for a second life. ❤️
And it got us thinking…
This isn’t the first time this year that a member of our community, or another local business, has chosen to support our shop with equipment, fixtures or resources.
And every time someone does, they’re not just supporting our shop. They’re supporting our whole community.
Because how an op shop looks and feels matters.
It matters to the person who may not have much to spend, but who still deserves to shop in a beautiful, organised and welcoming space — because affordability should never come at the expense of dignity.
It matters to our incredible volunteers, who give their time and energy every day. Good equipment and a well-organised shop make their work easier, safer and more rewarding.
And it matters to our planet. 🌏 Because when second-hand is displayed with care, when donated items are valued rather than simply piled onto racks, we make choosing second-hand an attractive choice for everyone — keeping more good things in circulation and out of landfill.
That’s why donations like Glenys’ mean so much to us.
They help us build the kind of thrift shop we believe our community deserves: affordable, welcoming, dignified, sustainable and full of life.
So today, Glenys Frizzell, this one is for you. ❤️
Thank you for seeing the value in what we do, and for choosing to be part of it.
From all of us at the Mooroopna Salvos Thrift Shop — THANK YOU! 🙌❤️
