After 8 years with us Joel Francis is hanging up his tea towel as he and his family prepare to leave Moree behind.

In that time he has done more than just sell spoons (which is what he is best known for). He has played a big role in the installation of the ballet studio in 2018, renovated flats and office spaces upstairs helped with shop-fitting downstairs, painted, painted and painted some more. He was integral in the development of the Assef’s website, and behind the scenes assisted in many other ways such as taking on stock receiving and ordering for Assef’s as well as for Sitty’s Spoon.

Joel and Anna are leaving behind a lot of friends and taking with them their 2 children (both born in Moree) and a lot of memories.

We want to say a huge thank you to Joel and wish him and his family all the best for the future.
