We popped a few in about a year ago, as a backdrop to a cottage garden planting of grasses and perennials. Lovely to see their first flush of blooms.

After a week laid up with an awful bug, nothing gives a lift to the spirits more than being back at the nursery receiving a big beautiful delivery of all your favourite winter plantings. Just in time for the weekend in your garden.

My granddaughter Ever and I spent much time debating your wonderful suggestions. After careful consideration we couldn’t get past the very clever reference to our precious Candy in the naming of the duckies.

My goodness! Thanking all of our friends for your wonderful, creative and colourful responses to our call out for names for our newest residents.

Pleased to report that the duckies had a very thorough look this afternoon. Big decisions to be made and we can’t wait to announce our winner tomorrow.

C O M P E T I T I O N

We are asking for your help to find names for our newest residents 🦆🦆

Our male and female duckies have settled in very well to their new abode (some would say a little too well!) Very chatty, a little bossy and not scared of anything! They even have Alice running for cover.

For name inspiration we are looking for infamous pairings from history up to the current day…. Pauline and Barnaby, Donald and Elon, Meaghan and Harry… the list goes on!

Winner announced Sunday. Prize a hamper from Candy’s Cottage.
