Time to race! ⏱️

Hi everyone,

This Sunday, 19 July, we’re excited to host our first 3-hour XC race since before COVID! We know the word "marathon" can sound a bit intense, so let's clarify: it’s a fun, varied 8–10km course where you ride as many laps as you can within the 3-hour window. If you cross the line just before the clock hits the 3-hour mark, you’re welcome to head out for one final lap. You can also tackle this as a TEAM!

Our volunteer committee will need to put a massive amount of effort into setting this longer course. We really want to bring this format back, as opportunities for these endurance races are becoming rare. However, we can only keep them on the calendar if you show up. If we don’t get enough numbers, we may have to revert to standard short-course racing for this event.

Well that's a wrap, 14 years with Jake.
Honesty, work ethic, self belief, and patience are just some of the qualities that made him the man he is today.
Highs and lows along the way like the odd car crash or bike crash, but back at work as soon as he could get onto crutches. This industry is losing a true bike tech/mechanic to the automotive world, so his ultimate goal is achieved. Proud to have been part of that journey !
