We all have a to-do list…

But this Monday, I think we need a TO-DON’T list. 😂💕

So for today, please DO NOT:

❌ Save your favourite outfit for a “special occasion”.

❌ Say “I’m too old to wear that.”

❌ Talk yourself out of something simply because it’s a little different from what you normally wear.

❌ Stand in front of the mirror and point out everything you don’t like.

❌ Refuse a compliment.
Just smile and say “Thank you.” 💗

❌ Feel guilty for doing something purely because it makes YOU happy.

❌ Wait until Friday to enjoy your week.

And one final VERY important Monday rule…

❌ DO NOT underestimate what a fabulous outfit, a good coffee and a little bit of confidence can do. ☕👗✨

Your laundry can have the ordinary Monday.

Today is for celebrating the wonderful dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures and all those special men who have loved, guided, encouraged and supported us along the way.

To the dads who are with us, the dads we’re missing today, the new dads, the grandads, and the men who simply stepped up when they were needed — today we celebrate you. 🤍

May your day be filled with family, laughter, good food, perhaps a little spoiling… and hopefully a well-earned afternoon nap! 😉

And to those who may find today a little difficult, I’m sending an extra little bit of love your way. 💕

On Saturday 5th September, we’re bringing a little old-world charm back to Swan Street with HORSE & CART RIDES as part of the AVANT Spring Market!

🤭 I NEED YOUR HELP… I HAVE SOME CONVINCING TO DO!

So… I have a little bit of news.

It looks like our current shop lease may not be renewed, which means I have a decision to make.

There just happens to be another little shopfront a few doors down… 👀💕

Now, my very sensible husband (aka my unofficial financial adviser 😂) is looking at the numbers and asking all the sensible questions.

Me?

I’m looking at the other shop thinking…

“But imagine what I could do with that space!” 😂

So I thought I’d ask the people who really matter — YOU.

🌸 A LITTLE WEDNESDAY NOTE FROM ME… 🌸

Sometimes we’re so busy getting through the days, looking after everyone else and thinking about what needs to be done next, that we forget to stop and appreciate just how far we’ve come.

So today, I just want to remind you…

You don’t have to have everything figured out.
You don’t have to get everything right.
And you certainly don’t have to be everything to everyone. 🤍

Be proud of the little things.
Be grateful for the people who make you smile.
And most importantly, remember to give yourself the same kindness you so freely give to others.

Life isn’t made up only of the big moments.

Sometimes the ordinary little moments turn out to be the most beautiful ones of all. 🌷
