✨ They call him Zeus — the owl with galaxies in his eyes.

At the Wildlife Learning Center in California lives a tiny Western Screech Owl who lost his sight to injury. He cannot hunt. He cannot soar across the night sky like others of his kind. But when you look into his eyes, you see something extraordinary.

Inside the darkness of his pupils, specks of silver and white scatter like stars. His eyes shimmer like the universe itself — vast, eternal, breathtaking.

Though Zeus will never fly free again, his story isn’t one of sorrow. It is one of resilience. Of beauty born in brokenness. Of how life finds a way to shine, even when the light seems gone.

He is cared for with love and safety. And in return, he carries a message for all who meet him: **that even in our struggles, even in our wounds, there is wonder waiting to be seen.**

🦉💫 Sometimes, the universe hides in the smallest of lives — reminding us that strength is not in perfection, but in survival.
