Extra Watts = Extra Whats?!
Our Carroll Shelby tribute build.

To celebrate more than 150 Trisled Gen3 chassis out in the wild, we’re putting together this special build. In 1962 Carroll Shelby took a very successful sports racing car from the other side of the world and installed a much more powerful big block V8. We thought with Gen3’s class leading handling and reliability it would be fun to do the same thing!

This special build Gen3! features hand built and polished 48 spoke wheels and Sticky Beak tyres. Bafang BBS mid drive motor, 90t chainring custom cranks. To top off all the polished alloy features we have the frame in beautiful metallic blue. Something that featured a lot in Carroll’s builds.

This is only part of the story. Stay tuned to see ‘what?!’ we power it with, ‘what?!’ aerodynamic package we install and ‘what?!’ The actual purpose of this build is! 😎

Bourke Street.

Trisled Back O Bourke full suspension trike build #17

This is a Back O Bourke with a bit of a twist. The customer is a long time fan of compact sports trikes however their riding style required something a lot more rugged.

The urban environment in Australia often has its challenges. Far from perfect cycling infrastructure often means some challenging surfaces and conditions. Ironically the machine we originally designed for the most remote riding actually has its place in suburbia.

We kept Back O Bourke’s massive 130mm of independent suspension front and rear (The most travel of any trike currently available) and changed out the rear end for a 20” wheel setup. Combined with a more compact rack/seat stay configuration the trike is now much more compact for loading into vehicles, parking in inconspicuous places and home storage.

Other features include our custom 3d printed hand rest Rohloff shifter grips, dual battery ready setup, Rohloff 14 speed hub, parking steering lock, integrated trailer hitch mount, mud guards all round, colour matched rims, Bafang 250w electric assist, 152mm cranks, DNM dual chamber air shocks and more I can’t think to list.

TerraTrike Grand Tourismo

This compact and comfy little trike represents an awesome option for riders looking for a path trike on a budget with room for upgrades later. Lovely little lugged Chromo frame and light weight alloy seat. 24” rear wheel gives room for more high end drive train options down the track while still maintaining the compact 20” fronts. Available for inspection and test ride in store now.

From perfect patterns come amazing moulds from which we can make wonderful parts. Fully vertically integrated in-house developed patterns and moulds has always been one of the rocks that sets us at Trisled apart from others. This thing of beauty recently made it out of the tool room for a brief little sun bake before if was marched back in for mould production. Full story and product info will likely finally surface in the coming weeks.

Todays build is this Rehatri 20” special needs trike. It features loads of easy adjustment supports as well as remote steering and braking at the rear for a carer to use. No nonsense and robustly built quality tool for a job👍
