Ola! Today, to celebrate the personal milestone of working 700 days in a row, I made my favourite cake! Only available until sold out, but good luck getting a piece before I just eat the whole thing myself 😆🫣

The best vanilla cake recipe, with a lemon cream cheese frosting, and a passionfruit drizzle to finish.

Ola! By request, apple scrolls will be on trial for a couple of weeks.

Many of you will have seen the suggestion box out front, well it filled up quite quickly! Some of them were very funny, and some are too inappropriate to share 🤣🤣

I chose the easiest one to start with while I keep sorting through the piles of notes 😅

Also, for the lovely soul that put their number in wanting a call from me...i won't be tricked into giving out my own number so easily 😆 try finding me on tinder instead 🤭

Ola! It was a hard nights work, but overall I'm very happy with the entries we submitted today (espescially the sourdough!). september 30th the results will be posted publicly :) wish us luck!

Maybe we can even bring a medal back to gippsland 😅😄

Ola! Another week of work experience down for the new generation. she got hands on with everything we do (from 4am!😴), including a few things we don't usually do! (like turkish) and I helped her make her own recipe on the last day 😊

Also.... i lost a bet...
So a small number of bolognese sausage rolls will be available at lunch time for 1 whole week.

Ola! Somebody convinced me to do a birthday cake... don't ask how.. 😅 but i did a couple of extra cakes for the shop. If you love chocolate, this one will knock your socks off.

Also, foccacia rolls are going out every day on a trial. I had been making them for private orders but they love them so much I figured I'd see if anyone else is interested in getting these. Even a basic toastie will go up a level using these bad boys.

Ola! No changes to our opening hours over the long weekend. Also, there has been quite a lot of requests for me to do another slab of carrot cake.. well i have a work experience kid in next week, so thats a perfect opportunity to add some variety to her course. We will do one, but i can't promise which day it will be ☺️
