💎 LET’S TALK LAB-GROWN DIAMONDS 💎

Lab grown diamonds are real diamonds.

They have the same crystal structure and essentially the same chemical and physical properties as natural diamonds, the main difference is where they come from. Natural diamonds form in the earth, while lab-grown diamonds are created in a controlled environment.

And for many of our clients, particularly younger couples, they can be an absolute God send. 🤍

Life is expensive. There are homes to save for, mortgages and rent to pay, weddings, travel, children and simply the everyday cost of living.

Not everyone wants or needs to put a huge portion of their savings into a diamond.

You may have heard the news about credit card surcharges being abolished in Australia 💳✨

For our Mandi & Co clients, though, there’s actually nothing changing.

I made the decision a long time ago not to pass credit card fees on to my clients. Whether you were paying for a small repair or a very special bespoke piece, I’ve always felt the price you’re quoted should be the price you pay without an extra fee appearing at the end.

Yes, those card fees have always been a cost to our little business, but they’re a cost I chose to absorb rather than pass on to you.

So while the rules may be changing, for our clients it’s simply business as usual. 🤍

No surprises. No added card fees. Just beautiful jewellery and the same personal service you’ve always received from us.

I am so lucky. 🤍

Not only do I get to create beautiful rings for amazing humans… sometimes they send me photos like this from their wedding day, and honestly, it never gets old.

But the wedding day is usually only where the story begins.

I have a little rule that my clients need to bring their rings back to me at least twice a year to be checked and cleaned. Officially, it’s to make sure everything is secure and keep their rings looking beautiful…

Unofficially, it’s because I get to see their stories unfold. 🤍

I get to watch families grow, hear about houses being bought, babies arriving, careers changing, adventures being had and all the wonderful, messy, beautiful things that happen in between.

And somewhere along the way, so many clients become friends.

I might make the ring that marks the beginning of a chapter, but one of the greatest privileges of what I do is getting to be there for all the chapters that come after it.

This is so much more than jewellery to me. ✨
